Love the drive in. A little expensive but two movies for $9 is pretty good. I just wish they were open more throughout the year. Wish the screens were a tad bigger.
One thing that could make it better would be more organization with the vehicles- strick rules about what kind of vehicles can park where. It's frustrating to get there early only to have a huge SUV park right in front of you! I usually have to move- sometimes 3-4 times!
Lots of fun. Definitely feels like a trip back in time. I took my five, four and one year old to this and they had a blast. I'd recommend bringing a battery operated radio to tune in the movie audio as you run the risk of a deal car battery if you time it in through your car stereo. Also, blankets, picnic chairs and pillows are also a good idea.

The drive in theaters are great for little kids because you can distract them and watch the movie yourself if you need to. That means bring games and stuff that you couldn't to a regular theater. Also very affordable for two back-to-back movies. I like the movies that are usually paired together. My biggest complaint is view can be obstructed by cars in front of you. My other complaints are people aren't always the most considerate when driving, parking, or how loud they get during the movie, and the environment makes it harder to stop their behavior. Overall though those issues are not the drive-in movie's fault. The one thing that kind of sucks is having to spend a lot of money on batteries or waisting a lot of gas to listen to the theater using a radio and sometimes the station won't even come out clear. Overall though a great option for the whole family.
Love it! It's a great place to take the kids or have a date night. The prices are awesome! You get to see to newly released movies for less than the price of one movie ticket!
