On 7/6/16 I called my Allstate agency, Ken Garff ins, to add a 2014 jeep to my ins and asked that the declaration page be faxed to my lender. Later that same day I received a voice mail stating this was completed. On 7/25 I received a notice from my lender staying that I hadn't provided this info and my interest rate would increase 1% if they didn't receive it by the end of the month. I called Ken Garff ins to see what the hold up was and was told it was sent. I called my lender back, they stated what they received did not list the them A's the lean holder. I called back Ken Garff ins and explained this. And was told they'd take care of it right away. I then received a call from my lender and was told that once again they are not listed as the lean holder. I called back Ken Garff ins and was told they had sent it and emailed me a copy of what was sent. I opened the email and no where on the declaration was there anything about the lean holder. I called back Ken Garff, and was told they didn't have a lean holder on the policy at all and took down the info. I couldn't hide my frustration for the run around and explained the 1% interest increase do to their incompetence. The girl laughed and repeated mockingly "1%". .. I explained, 1% potentially costs me over $3000. She laughed again. I asked her her supervisor, she then said if I felt more comfortable I could pick it up myself and bring it to my lender. .. I asked again for her supervisor. Supervisor Jenny got on the line I have her my policy # explained the issue on the 2014 jeep and that no one seemed to be listening at all to me and the needed lender info on the declaration and that it needed to be faxed to my lender, at which time I was told they had no lean info. I have her the lean info again and she asked me (no kidding) was this regarding my auto or home. I asked her if she was kidding, and if everyone there was smoking something instead of listening. .. I've been with Allstate over 20 years and have never experienced such bazaar and incompetent agents! Finally Jenny did get what was needed faxed to my lender and I found my old agent and switched back to her. I don't even know how Ken Garff ever even became my agent, just all of a sudden it was his name and phone # on my insurance card.
Frustrated! When you're involved in an accident in Oct 2016 and it still hasn't been resolved. When you get rear ended (not at fault) and your insurance goes up without explanation. Stuck with Allstate til my car gets fixed!
