I have brought both my cat and my dog here. They were very willing to help and it was very easy to make an appointment. At my normal vet, they are booked up several weeks in advance, and can be expensive without an appointment. It's really nice to have a back up if any last minute vet attention needs pop up. I would definitely recommend West Valley Veterinary Clinic to anyone who is looking for a low cost vet with great care. Both of my experiences here have been very positive ones. They were very professional and friendly.
I have so many good things to say about this place. They have been warm, friendly and kind to me for a few years since my pup was diagnosed with Addisons disease. I take her in each month and they greet her by name. The doctors are thorough, and they really do care. Especially Dr. Shaw! They also seem to care about their upkeep and cleanliness as they continue to make improvements in updating their facility which has been around for a long time. I'm sad to have moved to another state and hope I can find a place just as great as this one.
I received some devastating news about my 1 year old kitty today. While the situation is tragic and I am utterly heartbroken, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the staff here. They got me in for an appointment 2 hours after I called. They were prompt and gentle with him during the exam and thoroughly explained everything to me. When delivering the news that I would need to euthanize him in the next day or two, I broke down sobbing right in the exam room. The vet (I can't remember her name) was so kind and compassionate with me, offering me comfort, condolences, and tissues. They allowed me to stay in the exam room to make some calls and even sent the front desk worker in to collect my payment and deliver my receipt so I wouldn't have to stand out front with everyone in the lobby while broken in a million pieces. Before I left, several of the vet assistants came in to offer me condolences. You can tell they truly care about your little family members. Thank you for the care and support.
Worst vet clinic ever. Quoted a dog neuter at $180, charged us $430 when it was done. Forgot to do his rear dew claws, so had to put him under twice. And charged us for it. They did offer to waive the additional charges after giving us copies of our records and we said we would walk. We're still going elsewhere. Seriously, stay away from this garbage fire of a clinic. No communication.
The team was so helpful and friendly. Especially Kelly, thank you so much for all that you did for our baby Geronimo. I am so grateful, please please be sure to thank the anonymous donor that helped us to take care of him. Your kindness has truly touched our hearts. We hope to find a location to perform the amputation soon. Thank you for helping keep him comfortable, and for enduring all of my sobbing. Bless you all, I am forever thankful for your team.
