The area surrounding Valley Fair is full of great retail and food options. However, the mall interior is quite sad. There are very few stores open inside, and those that are often only cater to very specific tastes.
My favorite movie theater is here. Comfortable chairs. Even some are heated and recline (where was this 20 yrs ago).
This mall drastically needs to be revitalized beyond having a movie theater added to it. It is an outdated mall with not a lot of stores that draw a lot of interest. It is mainly small boutiques with either niche items, or a selection that only certain people would be interested in. The parking lot is also usually over packed and not easy to navigate.
Its nice to have the dollar theatres there & it also has a massive Megaplex for new release movies.
It's West Valley, enough said. The mall itself is alright, there's plenty of stuff there even if it feels more like a warehouse inside. There is however plenty of reason for there to be a West Valley Police office inside, and it's unfortunately not uncommon to see police escorting whole families out for fighting or other crimes. The only reason I'd give it a full 3 stars is for nostalgia and some of the better shops that do what they can for the location. Other than that, it's a cheap location with everything that comes with that classification.
Check out the connected Megaplex theatre, though. It’s the best movie theater in the area hands down.
Used to be a ratty mall years ago but has been renovated & is nice now. The renovation also greatly improved road access to the mall. Costco next door & LOTS of very good places to eat in the outdoor plaza of the mall. Food court inside the mall is also decent.
I make it a point to come here instead of anywhere else.
