It was a few years back, but horrible experience. One guy ripped a couch, tried to hide it and got aggressive when asked about it. They're not "starving students" versus under-trained labors. Steer clear from these guys.
I was given a timeframe of 8 to 12 on Monday I called every hour on the hour and received no updates no movers and no reason for them not showing up. Wednesday it was the same exact thing. I am a Realtor and I treat my clients with the most respect that I can. Under promise and over deliver. That was not the case here with these movers. Save yourself the time and effort. Use another company.
Once again they have not shown up today, Wednesday or Monday and claim there are all kinds of issues.

This is my second time using Starving Students and I have been very happy both times. They work quickly yet are very careful not to break anything. Both time their movers have been in good shape and strong.
